Author
Melina Macall loves playing with words. Her careers have spanned theater, education, advocacy and travel. For the past year she has been volunteering at Bluemont Sanctuary and is thrilled to share the incredible place that it is in her debut children's book.
She lives in New Jersey where her family has raised many Seeing Eye dogs including Imari (aka Murray) who is now a permanent family member.

Illustrator
Kelly Weiner is an artist whose work uses abstract shapes and color to create playful imagery with the intention of bringing a smile to its viewer. She has been a lover of art, traveling, and animals ever since she was little, and finds pure joy in creating. Bluemont Tails: Roxy The Hanoverian Horse is Kelly’s debut picture book.
She lives in Montclair, New Jersey with her two sweet cats, Toulouse and Ophelia.
